How can you marinate a pot roast?

Ingredients:

- Beef pot roast (chuck roast, rump roast, or top round roast)

- Olive oil

- Worcestershire sauce

- Soy sauce

- Red wine

- Beef broth

- Garlic powder

- Onion powder

- Salt

- Pepper

Instructions:

1. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, red wine, beef broth, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

2. Add the pot roast to the bowl and turn to coat in the marinade.

3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or up to overnight.

4. When ready to cook, remove the pot roast from the marinade and pat dry.

5. Sear the pot roast on all sides in a heated skillet over medium-high heat.

6. Transfer the pot roast to a slow cooker and add the marinade.

7. Cover the slow cooker and cook on low for 8-10 hours, or until the pot roast is tender.

8. Serve with your favorite sides.

Tips:

- To make a more flavorful marinade, add some chopped vegetables, such as carrots, celery, and onions.

- If you don't have a slow cooker, you can also braise the pot roast in the oven. Preheat the oven to 325 degrees Fahrenheit and cook the pot roast for 2-3 hours, or until it is tender.

- Serve the pot roast with your favorite sides, such as mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, or rice.
