How to Serve Brownies
Now that you've made your brownies, you want to wow your guest with their appearance as well as their taste. Use ingredients from your brownie recipe or complementary ingredients to garnish the finished product with style.
Things You'll Need
- Dessert plate
- Chocolate or raspberry syrup
- Chocolate chips
- Walnuts
- Peanuts
- Pecans
- Sprinkles
- Chocolate curls
- Cocoa
- Cinnamon
- Powdered sugar
Instructions
-
Place your brownies on a dessert plate. Drizzle a thin stream of chocolate or raspberry syrup in a zigzag pattern or any decorative fashion to the edges of the plate.
-
Place the brownie in the center of the plate, directly on top of the drizzled syrup design. If there are chocolate chunks in your brownies, add some chocolate chips to the plate in a deliberate pattern, too.
-
Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top of the brownie. You can sprinkle them onto the plate surrounding the brownie as well.
-
Add other edible elements, such as peanuts, pecans, sprinkles, mini-marshmallows, crushed peppermint sticks or chocolate curls.
-
Dust the brownie and serving plate evenly with a small amount of cocoa, cinnamon, powdered sugar or a mixture of all three.
-
Select the freshest mint leaf you can find to add to your plate. Offset it on top of the brownie. This final garnish adds beauty and flavor.
