How to Put an Icing Tip on an Icing Bag
Decorating bags are made of featherweight, parchment or plastic. Featherweight bags are coated with polyester, which makes them reusable. A parchment triangle can be folded into a disposable decorating bag. The plastic bags are also made to discard after one use. Regardless of what type of bag you use to decorate a cake, you will need to add a tip to add designs and details to a cake. A coupler and ring is needed to attach the bag to the tip. A coupler and ring can be found at many craft stores. Without these items, the tip cannot be secured to the bag.
