What are preparatory tools?
Preparatory tools include the following:
- Diaries: a diary is a private record of one's thoughts, experiences, and feelings, often dating from the previous day. This can include a log of day-to-day activities and can also include feelings and thoughts about those activities.
- Journals: journals are more analytical and objective in their content, and are less likely to contain personal views and observations. They may include a discussion of the thoughts and ideas generated by a diary, or they may provide an analysis of a given topic or issues without necessarily relying on personal experiences.
- Notes: notes are brief written records that are used for reminders or to provide a short description or summary of a given topic. Notes may be used to prepare for a meeting or an interview, or they may provide a short overview of a given subject for future reference.
- Letters: letters are written communications sent to another person or organization. Letters can be used to provide a detailed description or account of a given event or issue, or they can be used to convey personal thoughts and feelings. Letters can be informal and personal in nature, or they can be more formal and business-like in tone.
- Memos: memos are short written communications within an organization, providing a brief description of a given issue or event. Memos are often used for internal communication among departments and employees within an organization, and can be used to discuss a variety of issues, from project updates to announcements and reminders.
