How do you make donner kebab?
### Doner Kebab Recipe
Ingredients:
- 1 lb. ground lamb or beef
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 2 tomatoes, diced
- 1/2 cup plain yogurt
- 1/4 cup tahini sauce
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 lemon, juiced
- Pita bread or naan, for serving
Instructions:
1.) In a large bowl, combine the ground lamb or beef, cumin, coriander, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.
2.) Form the mixture into a 12-inch long, 3-inch wide loaf.
3.) Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
4.) Add the lamb or beef loaf and cook for 10-12 minutes per side, or until browned on all sides.
5.) Remove the loaf from the skillet and let it rest for 5 minutes.
6.) Thinly slice the loaf into 1/4-inch thick slices.
7.) In a large bowl, combine the sliced onions, green bell pepper, and tomatoes.
8.) Add the yogurt, tahini sauce, garlic, and lemon juice. Mix well to combine.
9.) To serve, place some of the sliced lamb or beef on a pita bread or naan. Top with some of the salad, and drizzle with additional tahini sauce.
10.) Enjoy!
