How do you make tuna omelette?
Ingredients:
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/4 cup chopped red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped green bell pepper
- 1/4 cup chopped cooked tuna
- 1/4 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend)
Instructions:
1. Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk them together with the milk, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat the olive oil in a nonstick skillet over medium heat.
3. Add the red onion and green bell pepper to the skillet and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.
4. Add the tuna and cheese to the skillet and stir to combine.
5. Pour the egg mixture over the vegetables and cheese.
6. Cook the omelette for 3-5 minutes, or until cooked through.
7. Fold the omelette in half and serve immediately.
Tips:
- For a heartier omelette, add some diced ham, bacon, or sausage.
- If you don't have any cooked tuna, you can use canned tuna in water, drained and flaked.
- For a vegetarian omelette, omit the tuna and add some extra vegetables, such as mushrooms, spinach, or tomatoes.
