What temperature should you keep a hamster in?

Hamsters are small, furry rodents that are popular pets. They are native to dry, cool climates, and they do best in temperatures between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit. If the temperature gets too high, hamsters can become stressed, develop health problems, or even die.

Here are some tips for keeping your hamster's temperature regulated:

* Keep the hamster cage in a cool, well-ventilated area. Avoid placing the cage in direct sunlight or near heat sources.

* If the room temperature is high, you can use a fan to circulate cool air around the cage.

* Provide your hamster with a cool, dark place to retreat to. This could be a hide box, a tunnel, or even a towel placed in the bottom of the cage.

* If the temperature outside is extremely high, you can place a frozen water bottle or ice pack on the side of the cage. Be sure to wrap the ice pack in a cloth so that the hamster doesn't come into direct contact with it.

By following these tips, you can help your hamster stay cool and healthy during the hot summer months.
