How to Make Cornmeal Cereal
Would you guess that the cornmeal gathering dust in the back of your cupboard can be made into a quick, tasty hot cereal? It's warming and satisfying! Serves one, but you can easily multiply it for as many people as you like.
Things You'll Need
- 1 1/4 c. milk (or half milk, half water)
- honey
- 1/2 c. cornmeal
- maple syrups
- brown sugars

Instructions

Place milk (or a mixture of half milk and half water) in a small saucepan and whisk in cornmeal. Turn the flame on to medium and heat to boiling, stirring occasionally.

Simmer for a few minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cereal is thickened.

Serve with brown sugar, honey or maple syrup.
