Who first created the reuben sandwich?
The Reuben sandwich was created by Arnold Reuben in 1914 at his restaurant in Omaha, Nebraska. Reuben's Delicatessen is still open in Omaha today and serves the original Reuben sandwich. The sandwich is made with corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Russian dressing on grilled rye bread.
