How to Make Frozen Cinnamon Rolls Rise (3 Steps)
Cinnamon rolls make a delicious breakfast for special occasions. Mix, form and pan the rolls ahead of time so that all you have to do in the morning is pop them in the oven, let them bake, and then frost them once they're done. Before you put them in the oven, give the rolls time to rise so they'll be soft and airy, instead of dense. If the dough is frozen, it will need more time than if it's simply refrigerated, so plan accordingly.
Instructions
-
Remove the pan of cinnamon rolls from the freezer.
-
Place the pan on the counter or in the refrigerator and allow the rolls to thaw for 10 to 12 hours.
-
Put rolls in a warm place and allow them to rise for 45 to 60 minutes until they double in size. The rolls should touch one another and the sides of the pan. They're now ready for baking.
