How is long bean dispersed?
1. By wind:
Long beans have lightweight, papery seed pods that contain several seeds. When the pods mature, they split open and the seeds are dispersed by the wind. The wind carries the seeds over long distances, and they can land in new areas where they can germinate and grow into new plants.
2. By animals:
Animals can also help to disperse long bean seeds. Birds and other animals eat the long bean pods and then excrete the seeds in their droppings. The seeds can then germinate and grow into new plants in the areas where the animals deposit their droppings.
3. By water:
Long beans can also be dispersed by water. When it rains, the water can carry the long bean seeds away from the parent plant. The seeds can then settle in new areas and germinate, growing into new plants.
