Olive Eyes

• Set olives on toothpicks into any sandwich on a bun, and you're halfway to a cute frog snack. Add a strip of red bell pepper or a long slice of cucumber between the bread halves for a tongue, and you're finished. Try this with a tuna or egg salad for the best match of flavors, although this can also be accomplished with a simple sandwich of cold cuts.

Sandwich Cookie Ribbits

• For this simple treat, you need a sandwich cookie, a batch of frosting, some pretzels and candy-covered chocolates. The cookie forms the body of the frog; place two pretzels underneath for "feet" and attach them with frosting. The chocolates form the "eyes" and are placed on top of the cookie and secured with a dab of frosting. Your child will have as much fun assembling the treats as she will licking her fingers clean of excess frosting.

Funny Frog Faces

• A little food coloring is almost all that you need to turn a bagel or an English muffin into a funny frog's face. Tint a batch of whipped cream cheese green with the food coloring; then spread onto the bagel. Add banana slices for eyes, with chocolate chips for the pupils, and add a strip of red fruit leather for the tongue. You can achieve a similar effect for cupcakes with green-tinted frosting, candy eyes and a licorice stick for the tongue. Once you've tinted the frosting or cream cheese, you can let your child do the rest.

Frog Cutouts

• Another easy way to produce frog-themed snacks with your child is to invest in a set of frog-shaped cookie cutters. You can use these to form sugar cookies -- add a little green sugar for decoration -- but don't limit yourself to sweets. Sandwiches can be cut into frog shapes, too, as can slices of cold cuts and cheese without the bread.
