How do you cut jello recipes in half?
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 cup boiling water
- 1 cup fruit juice (such as pineapple juice, orange juice, or grape juice)
- 1/2 cup frozen fruit (such as pineapple chunks, orange slices, or grapes)
Instructions:
1. In a small bowl, whisk together the cold water and unflavored gelatin. Let stand for 5 minutes, or until the gelatin has absorbed the water and become spongy.
2. In a medium saucepan, bring the boiling water to a boil over medium heat.
3. Remove the saucepan from the heat and add the gelatin mixture. Stir until the gelatin has completely dissolved.
4. Stir in the fruit juice and frozen fruit.
5. Pour the mixture into a 9x5 inch loaf pan and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or until firm.
6. To serve, cut the jello into squares and enjoy!
Tips:
- If you don't have a loaf pan, you can also use a 9-inch square baking dish.
- If you want a smoother jello, you can strain it before pouring it into the pan.
- You can also add other ingredients to your jello, such as nuts, seeds, or whipped cream.
- Jello is a great dessert for parties and potlucks. It's also a fun treat for kids.
