How to Make Onion Salt
If you are looking for a delicious condiment to add to pizzas and pastas, make your own onion salt at home. Onion gives a mildly pungent flavor to food and can be added to dishes from nearly every cuisine including Continental, Italian, Mexican and Indian. Use good quality onion powder since it gives the main taste to this condiment. If you do not have onion powder on hand, use one tablespoon of dried onion flakes for each teaspoon of onion powder in the recipe.
