Becco

• Becco is located in Manhattan's theater district and opened in 1993 by mother-and-son team Lidia Bastianich and her son Joseph. The menu features a variety of soups, salads, antipasti and sides, as well as poultry, veal, pork, lamb and seafood entrees. Popular dishes include the grilled swordfish paired with spaghetti squash, stewed cherry tomatoes, roasted pumpkin seeds and pumpkin seed oil and "Joe's Veal Chop" grilled and served with garlic mashed potatoes, caramelized shallots and braised escarole with prosciutto and finished in La Mozza extra virgin olive oil.
