Chaquewe (Chacoen, Tsaqwe) were an indigenous Amazonian people known for their extensive fishing grounds. Although, this tribe became extinct from an epidemic before the 1950s. These native people also used to live along the shores of rivers like Paraguay-Parana river basins. Some of these regions also included:
