How do you cook tacos?
To cook tacos, you will need the following ingredients:
• 1 pound of ground beef (or turkey)
• 1 taco seasoning packet
• 1/2 cup of water
• 12 corn tortillas
• Shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
• Lettuce, diced tomatoes, and other desired toppings (sour cream, guacamole, salsa, etc.)
Instructions:
1. Crumble the ground beef (or turkey) into a large skillet over medium heat. Cook until the meat is browned and cooked. Drain the excess grease.
2. Add the taco seasoning packet and 1/2 cup of water to the skillet. Stir until the seasoning is dissolved and combined with the meat. Bring to a simmer.
3. While the meat is cooking, heat the tortillas in a separate skillet or on a griddle until they are warm and pliable.
4. Once the tortillas are warmed, add some of the taco meat to each one.
5. Top the meat with shredded cheese and any desired toppings (lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, etc.).
6. Fold the tortillas over and enjoy your tacos!
