Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded pork shoulder
- 2 cups shredded ham
- 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
- 4 pickles, sliced
- 4 Cuban bread rolls, split in half
- 2 tablespoons yellow mustard
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a large bowl, combine the pork shoulder, ham, Swiss cheese, and pickles.
3. Spread the mustard and mayonnaise on the inside of the Cuban bread rolls.
4. Divide the meat and cheese mixture evenly between the rolls.
5. Close the rolls and wrap them in foil.
6. Bake the sandwiches for 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
7. Serve the sandwiches immediately.
Tips
- For a more authentic Cuban sandwich, use Cuban bread, which is a slightly sweet, eggy bread.
