How to Cook a Tortilla So Its Not Oily
Warm tortillas are the basis for a variety of Latin American specialties. You do not have to make them from scratch to enjoy the soft warmth of a fresh tortilla, however. Gently heating a store-bought tortilla will soften it enough to wrap around your favorite fillings. If your tortillas have begun to go stale, steaming them will make them moist and pliable again without using any fat or oil. Your tortillas will come out warm and moist without being oily.
