Who made Kool-Aid?
Kool-Aid was invented in 1927 by Edwin Perkins, a salesman from Hastings, Nebraska, who was looking for a way to sell more of the powdered fruit concentrate. He mixed the powder with water and sugar and sold it door-to-door, calling it "Kool-Ade". The drink quickly became popular, and Perkins began selling it to grocery stores. In the 1950s, Kool-Aid was bought by the General Foods Corporation, which eventually became part of Kraft Heinz.
