What is fried food?
Fried food is food that has been submerged in hot fat or oil until it becomes crispy. The process of frying involves heating oil or fat to a high temperature, usually between 350 and 375 degrees Fahrenheit (175 to 190 degrees Celsius), and then adding food to the hot oil. The food is cooked quickly, with the outside becoming crispy and the inside remaining tender. Fried foods can include anything from potato chips and french fries to chicken wings and fish fillets.
