Western Union has suspended its money transfer service into bank accounts at Suruga Bank, effective August 6.
You can no longer receive remittances sent via Western Union into your Suruga Bank account. Alternatively, it's still possible to receive Western Union remittances in-person by cash pick-up at participating post offices or convenience stores (excluding Lawson.)
