How to Go Out for Sushi As a Vegetarian
When most people think of sushi, raw fish is the first thing that comes to mind. Sushi actually means "seasoned rice," and there can be many types of sushi, including vegetarian sushi. Vegetarians don't have to go hungry when dining out with friends for sushi. There are usually many vegetarian options at sushi restaurants, and they usually cost less than their nonvegetarian counterparts. Beyond offering at least a few types of vegetarian sushi, most Japanese restaurants also feature vegetarian appetizers and noodle dishes.
