Who ate pasta in Sicily?

It's impossible to say definitively who first ate pasta in Sicily, as there's no historical record that goes back that far.

However, we do know that:

* Pasta arrived in Sicily through Arab traders around the 10th century. This was long before pasta became a staple food in Italy.

* Sicilians embraced pasta and incorporated it into their own culinary traditions. They developed unique pasta shapes and sauces, many of which are still popular today.

So, while we can't pinpoint who the first Sicilian to eat pasta was, we know that Sicilians have a long and rich history with pasta.
