How do you make a riceball?

### To make a riceball, you will need:

* 2 cups cooked short grain rice

* 1/2 cup sushi vinegar

* desired fillings

* plastic wrap

1. In a large bowl, combine the cooked rice and sushi vinegar.

2. Mix well until the vinegar has been absorbed by the rice.

3. Let the rice cool slightly.

4. While the rice is cooling, prepare your fillings. Possible fillings include:

- Shredded chicken or pork

- Shredded vegetables (such as carrots, cucumber, or cabbage)

- Cooked seafood (such as shrimp, tuna, or salmon)

- Furikake (a Japanese seasoning made from seaweed, sesame seeds, and other ingredients)

- Pickled plums

- Cooked soybeans

5. Once the rice has cooled, take a small handful of rice and flatten it into a disk about 1-inch thick.

6. Place your desired filling in the center of the disk.

7. Wrap the rice around the filling, forming a ball.

8. Repeat steps 5-7 until all of the rice has been used.

9. Wrap each riceball in plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

10. Serve cold or at room temperature.
