How do you tell if a dried date is spoiled?
There are a couple of ways to tell if a dried date is spoiled.
1. Check for mold. Mold can be identified as spots or discoloration on the date. If you notice any mold, it is best to discard the date.
2. Smell the date. If it smells sour or rancid, it is likely spoiled.
3. Taste the date. If it tastes bitter, it is likely spoiled.
4. Check the texture of the date. If it feels dry or hard, it is likely old and may be spoiled.
If you are unsure if a dried date is spoiled, it is always best to err on the side of caution and discard it.
