How do you remove ink stain from linen curtain?
Remove an Ink Blot from Linen Curtains
1. Blot the ink stain immediately with a clean, white cloth. Never rub the stain as this can make it more difficult to remove.
2. Rinse with mild dish soap and water. Always test the stain remover in a small inconspicuous area first to make sure that it does not damage the fabric.
3. If the stain persists, try treating it with a dry-cleaning solvent. Again, test a small area first before applying the solvent to the entire stain.
4. Wash the curtain in the hottest water recommended for the fabric. Be sure to use the highest setting on the washer and dryer, as this will help to permanently set the stain remover.
5. If the stain is still visible, you can try a more aggressive stain remover. Some commercial stain removers are specifically designed for ink stains, so you may want to try one of those. Be sure to follow the directions on the package carefully.
6. As a last resort, you can take the curtain to a professional dry cleaner. They should be able to remove the ink stain completely.
