How do you get the milk smell out of a metal waterbottle?
There are a few different ways to remove milk smell from a metal water bottle:
1) Vinegar and Baking Soda: Fill the bottle with 1/2 cup vinegar and 1/2 cup baking soda. Let the mixture sit for several hours or overnight. Rinse thoroughly and wash as usual.
2) Baking Soda Paste: Make a paste with 2 parts baking soda and 1 part water. Spread the paste inside the bottle and let sit for several hours. Rinse thoroughly and wash as usual.
3) Bleach: Fill the bottle with a mixture of 1 part bleach and 10 parts water. Let the mixture sit for several hours. Rinse thoroughly and wash as usual.
4) Lemon Juice and Salt: Fill the bottle with equal parts lemon juice and salt. Let the mixture sit for several hours. Rinse thoroughly and wash as usual.
5) Denture Tablets: Drop 2-3 denture tablets into the water bottle and fill with hot water. Let the tablets dissolve and then let the mixture sit for an hour. Rinse thoroughly and wash as usual.
6) Unflavored Dental Floss: Fill a water bottle with cold water and drop in a piece of unflavored dental floss. Let it sit overnight and then rinse it out in the morning. The dental floss will absorb the milk smell.
