What grapes are use in zinfandel wine?
Zinfandel wine is made from the Zinfandel grape. It's a red wine grape variety, and it's actually the same grape as the Primitivo grape found in Italy and the Crljenak Kaštelanski grape found in Croatia.
So while you'll often see "Zinfandel" on the label, it's good to know that other names for this same grape exist!
