How do you make swai?
### How to Make Swai
Swai (Pangasius hypophthalmus) is a type of freshwater catfish that is native to Southeast Asia. It is a popular fish to eat because it is mild in flavor, has a firm texture, and is relatively inexpensive. Swai can be cooked in a variety of ways, but some of the most popular methods include baking, frying, and steaming.
Ingredients
* 1 pound swai fillets
* 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
* 1/4 teaspoon salt
* 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
* 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
* 1/4 cup lemon juice
* 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
Instructions
1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (200 degrees Celsius).
2. In a shallow dish, combine the flour, salt, and pepper.
3. Dredge the swai fillets in the flour mixture.
4. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
5. Add the swai fillets and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked through.
6. Transfer the swai fillets to a baking dish.
7. Pour the lemon juice over the swai fillets.
8. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes, or until heated through.
9. Garnish with the chopped parsley and serve immediately.
Tips
* To test if the swai fillets are cooked through, insert a fork into the thickest part of the fish. If the flesh flakes easily, the fish is done.
* Swai can also be cooked on the grill or in the air fryer.
* Serve swai with your favorite sides, such as rice, potatoes, or vegetables.
