How to Make Turkey Meatloaf

Meatloaf is one of the all American meals. Meat, however, is high in fat. Many people are making healthier choices by substituting ground turkey for the ground beef. Turkey meatloaves can be just as tasty as ground beef meatloaf and they are a lot better for you. Here is how you can make a delicious turkey meatloaf:

Things You'll Need

  • 1lb of Ground Turkey
  • Baking Dish
  • Oven
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Small bowl
  • Clean hands
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup of plain bread crumbs
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper
  • 1/4 cup of finely chopped onions
  • 1/2 cup of ketchup
  • 2 shakes of Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 clove of finely chopped garlic

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Place your mixing bowl on the table and add your turkey, salt, pepper, onion, garlic, bread crumbs, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and garlic.

  3. Beat an egg in your small bowl and combine with meat and other ingredients. Mix until well blended together with your hands. Make sure you washed your hands first.

  4. Form your turkey mixture in to two equally sized meat loaves. They should look more oval shaped than round. Place them on your baking dish. There is no need to grease your dish.

  5. Place your turkey meatloaf in to the oven for 30-40 minutes.
