Instruction manual for Mirro Pressure cooker

1. Remove all the packaging and inspect the pressure cooker for damage.

2. Wash the pressure cooker, lid and sealing ring in hot soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.

3. Place the sealing ring in its groove on the lid, ensuring that it is properly seated.

4. Close the lid of the pressure cooker. Insert one long and short metal pins of the lid through the holes in the lid. Turn one side of the lid one-quarter turn clockwise to lock the lid.

5. Add the desired amount of food and liquid ingredients to the pressure cooker. Ensure not to fill it more than 2/3 full, as this can cause the pressure to build up too high.

6. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and insert one long and short metal pins of the lid through the holes in the lid. Turn one side of the lid one-quarter turn clockwise to lock the lid.

7. Place the pressure cooker on the stovetop over medium heat. The pressure indicator will begin to rise.

8. Once the pressure indicator reaches the desired pressure, reduce the heat to maintain it.

9. Cook the food for the desired amount of time, per recipe. Refer to the chart in the instruction manual to determine the correct time for different types of food.

10. Once the cooking time is complete, remove the pressure cooker from the heat source and allow it to cool for a few minutes.
