Will vineager help a jellyfish sting?
Vinegar is not recommended as a first-aid treatment for jellyfish stings. While it may help neutralize the stinging cells of some species of jellyfish, certain types of jellyfish stings could be worsened by vinegar application. Applying vinegar to a jellyfish sting may potentially cause the stinging cells to release more venom and intensify the pain. Seek immediate medical attention if a person has been stung by a jellyfish.
