How to Season Frozen Cooked Shrimp (4 Steps)

Things You'll Need

  • I lb. frozen cooked shrimp
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • Two garlic cloves, minced
  • Dried or fresh parsley to taste
  • Large skillet
  • 3 tbsp. fresh-squeezed lemon

Instructions

  1. Thaw the frozen, cooked shrimp either by running cool water over it or allowing it to defrost in a refrigerator according to package instructions.

  2. Melt 1/4 cup of butter in a large skillet.

  3. Add two minced garlic cloves and fresh or dried parsley to taste to the melted butter. Saute the garlic for five minutes over medium-low heat. Add 3 tbsp. of fresh-squeezed lemon juice to infuse the shrimp with a bright flavor.

  4. Transfer the thawed shrimp into the pan and gently toss them to coat with the garlic butter. Heat the shrimp for 1 to 2 minutes, or until they are hot.
