Can a jellyfish kill an electric eel?

Jellyfish cannot kill electric eels. Electric eels produce strong electric shocks to defend themselves and hunt prey. These shocks can be several hundred volts and can stun or even kill other animals. Jellyfish, on the other hand, have a defense mechanism called nematocysts, which are tiny stinging cells that inject venom when triggered. While these nematocysts can cause pain and irritation to humans and other animals, they are not powerful enough to kill an electric eel.
