Where do shrimp come from?
Shrimp come from the ocean!
Specifically, they are found in saltwater environments all over the world, including:
* Coastal waters: Shrimp are common in shallow coastal waters, estuaries, and bays.
* Coral reefs: Some shrimp species live among coral reefs, where they find food and shelter.
* Deep sea: There are also shrimp species that live in the deep ocean, at depths of several thousand meters.
However, shrimp can also be farmed in freshwater ponds and tanks. This is becoming increasingly common, as it allows for more controlled production and can help reduce pressure on wild populations.
So, while shrimp come from the ocean naturally, they can also be found in a variety of other environments due to human intervention.
