How many sizes of chicken eggs does USDA recognize?
The USDA recognizes four sizes of chicken eggs:
* Jumbo: 30 ounces per dozen
* Extra Large: 27 ounces per dozen
* Large: 24 ounces per dozen
* Medium: 21 ounces per dozen
There are also smaller sizes (small, peewee) but they are not commonly sold.
