Do you put oil in with spaghetti noodles?
It is not necessary to add oil to the water when cooking spaghetti noodles. While some people believe that adding oil will prevent the noodles from sticking together, this is a misconception. In fact, adding oil can actually make the noodles more likely to stick together.
The best way to prevent spaghetti noodles from sticking is to use a large pot of boiling water and to stir the noodles frequently while they are cooking. You can also add a little salt to the water, which will help to prevent the noodles from becoming mushy.
Once the noodles are cooked, drain them immediately and rinse them with cold water to stop the cooking process. You can then add your desired sauce to the noodles and serve.
