Where did pasta first come from?
Pasta, in its modern form, likely originated in Southern Italy sometime around the mid-1500s, however forms of a "dry flatbread" made with "flour mixed with water and kneaded" likely date to the 4th century BC. However, the concept of pasta made with wheat could be as far back as the 2nd century BCE.
