How do you cook raw pasta in oven?

To cook raw pasta in the oven:

Ingredients:

- 1 pound (450 grams) dry pasta, such as penne, rigatoni, or ziti

- 2 tablespoons olive oil

- 1 cup (240 ml) water

- 1 cup (240 ml) tomato sauce or marinara sauce

- Salt and pepper, to taste

- One half cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).

2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add salt to the boiling water and cook the pasta according to the package instructions, but cook for about 2 minutes less than the suggested cooking time.

3. Drain the pasta and transfer it to a large bowl. Add the olive oil, tomato sauce, and parmesan cheese; stir to combine. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

4. Pour the pasta mixture into a 9x13 inch (23x33 cm) baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the pasta is cooked through and the top is golden brown.

5. Serve hot, optionally garnished with additional grated parmesan cheese, basil leaves.

Tips:

- To prevent the pasta from drying out, make sure to add enough water to the baking dish. The water should be about halfway up the sides of the pasta.

- If you want the pasta to be extra saucy, add more tomato sauce.

- You can also add other vegetables to the pasta, such as broccoli, bell peppers, or spinach.

- For a richer flavor, use half water and half chicken broth in the baking dish.

- If you don't have a baking dish, you can also cook the pasta in a large skillet or pot that is oven-safe.
