How to Cook Shrimp Pasta (5 Steps)
Using shrimp and any form of pasta as a base, you can whip up quick and delicious meals in a hurry.

For a quick and easy shrimp pasta dinner, start with a jar of pre-made Alfredo sauce, 20 medium shrimp and linguine. Cook the linguine according to the directions of the box and in 2 tablespoons each of olive oil and butter, saute mushrooms, shrimp and 1 minced garlic glove. When the shrimp are opaque, pour the the jar of sauce over the mushrooms and add a tablespoon of capers. Pour sauce over al dente pasta.

For a tasty chilled shrimp pasta treat, cook 14 ounces of angel hair pasta according to directions on the box. Drain the noodles and set aside to cool. In a medium bowl, combine a pound of cooked shrimp, 1 chopped red bell pepper, 1 can sliced black olives and add the chilled pasta. Stir in Italian salad dressing to taste, refrigerate and serve cold.

For a delicious shrimp scampi recipe, boil a pound of angel hair pasta according to box directions. Saute one pound of peeled and de-veined shrimp with one clove of garlic in a 1/4 cup of olive oil. Add 1/4 cup of dry white wine and 5 tablespoons of butter to the sauteed shrimp and combine with cooked pasta.

For a zesty Cajun shrimp pasta recipe, boil a package of angel hair pasta according to box directions. In two tablespoons of olive oil, saute one minced garlic clove, one pound of shelled and de-veined shrimp and 1 small chopped white onion. Add 1 can of chicken broth, one tablespoon each of black pepper, thyme, cayenne pepper and basil. Mix hot pasta and shrimp sauce and serve.

Saute one pound of peeled and de-veined shrimp in 1/4 cup of butter and 3 tablespoons of olive oil. When shrimp is pink, add 6 to 8 minced garlic cloves, a dash of red pepper flakes and Italian seasonings. Add hot pasta to the shrimp mixture and toss.
