Is gravy really made from animal blood mixed with fat?
Gravy is typically made from the juices that come out of meat or vegetables during cooking, thickened with a flour-and-water mixture or cornstarch. It can also be made from a concentrated stock or broth. Animal blood is not typically used in gravy.
