* Internal temperatures listed here reflect temperatures at the center of the thickest part of the meat. If you use a meat thermometer, be sure to stick the probe into the thickest part of the meat.
Never microwave uncooked or partially cooked ham. Microwaves cannot cook thick foods evenly, and harmful bacteria can survive this uneven process. Always thoroughly cook ham before microwaving it.
