Is grilling a hamburger physical or chemical change?
Chemical change.
When you grill a hamburger, the heat from the grill causes the proteins in the meat to break down and rearrange, forming new compounds that give the meat its characteristic grilled flavor and texture. This is a chemical change because the composition of the meat has changed.
