Gas Grills That Are Rustproof

Gas grills provide a quick and convenient way to grill food while avoiding the mess usually associated with charcoal and lighter fluid. Constructed from materials that range from sheet metal and stainless steel to porcelain-coated steel and cast brass, all models are subject to some rusting. Several models are constructed with a majority of rustproof materials to help extend the life of the grill.

Brahma Grill

  • The Brahma, built by Bull Outdoor Products, Inc., is a five-burner gas grill constructed of rustproof 16-gauge, 304 stainless steel parts that include a dual-lined roll-top hood with seamless welded edges, a 760-square-inch cooking grate, a 266-square-inch warming rack, a full-size drip tray, a rotisserie motor, and a full-length handle. The five 15,000-BTU, cast-stainless steel burners are also rustproof and cannot be damaged by grease or other food items. Additional features consist of six heavy-duty turn knobs and "sure-lite" gas valves, a 15,000-BTU infrared burner and a chrome-plated spit and rod.

Lynx Professional Grills

  • The Lynx Professional Grills are available in five different models ranging from 27 to 54 inches. Each model’s exterior is constructed with heavy-duty welded stainless steel to eliminate gaps where grease and moisture can collect. Other rustproof specifications include two 25,000-BTU cast-brass burners and a 685-square-inch stainless-steel cooking grate. Additional amenities of the grills consist of a hot surface ignition system, a halogen grill surface light, a removable large-capacity smoker box, and ceramic briquettes to provide even heat distribution.

Weber Summit S-420

  • The Weber Summit S-420 gas grill is constructed with a stainless steel hood, an enclosed cart with stainless-steel doors and two work surfaces with polished handles and trim. Other rustproof stainless-steel features include four individually controlled 12,200-BTU burners, a 12,000-BTU side burner, a 539-square-inch cooking grate, and a 112-square-inch warming rack. The grill provides additional features such as the handle light, and the Weber-made Snap-Jet Individual burner ignition system and Flavorizer bars, which are angled to direct juices down and away from the burners and create smoke without flare-ups.
