How to Season Ground Beef for Simple Hamburgers
Hamburgers are a classic main dish at a summer barbecue or tailgating before a big game. While you can always get creative with your hamburger spices, a simple seasoning allows diners to enjoy the flavor of the meat and toppings. A good rule of thumb is to mix any seasonings into the meat. Sprinkling them on top will just cause most of the seasoning to be burned away as it cooks. Garlic is a perfect ground beef seasoning as it enhances the flavor of the meat without overpowering it. Otherwise keep it basic with a little salt and pepper.
