Why you put tropical fish in a tank full of cool water?
You should never put tropical fish in a tank full of cool water!
Tropical fish come from warm, tropical climates and are adapted to live in water with a specific temperature range. Putting them in cool water is extremely dangerous and can lead to:
* Hypothermia: Their bodies can't regulate their temperature in cold water, leading to a dangerous drop in body temperature.
* Slowed Metabolism: Their metabolism slows down, making them lethargic and unable to process food efficiently.
* Weakened Immune System: Cold temperatures make them more susceptible to diseases.
* Death: In severe cases, the cold can lead to organ failure and death.
Always maintain the correct temperature for your tropical fish species. This is typically between 75-82 degrees Fahrenheit. Invest in a quality aquarium heater and thermometer to ensure the water stays at the right temperature.
