What do you eat on a crawfish?
You eat the tail meat of a crawfish. Here's how:
1. Peel the shell: Grab the crawfish by the head and twist the tail section away from the body.
2. Remove the tail meat: The tail meat is located inside the tail shell. You can either pull it out with your fingers or use a tool like a crawfish pick.
3. Discard the shell: After you've eaten the tail meat, discard the shell.
Note: You can also eat the crawfish heads, but they require a bit more effort. The head contains the tomalley, which is a green paste that's considered a delicacy. To eat the head, you'll need to crack it open and use a spoon to scoop out the tomalley. Some people also eat the claws, but the meat is small and difficult to extract.
If you're unsure about how to eat a crawfish, don't be afraid to ask someone for help!
