Do you need to put bubble your new born fish?

It's generally not recommended to put newborn fish in a bubble nest.

Here's why:

* Bubble nests are for eggs, not fry: Bubble nests are made by male fish (like Bettas) to protect their eggs. Newborn fish (fry) are too small and fragile to be kept in a bubble nest. They need open space to swim and find food.

* Risk of suffocation: Bubble nests can trap fry and lead to suffocation.

* Limited space: Bubble nests are very small, limiting the fry's ability to grow and develop properly.

Instead of a bubble nest, you should:

* Separate the fry: If you have livebearers (like guppies, mollies, or platys), you can often leave the fry in the main tank with the parents. However, if you want to raise them separately, you need to set up a breeding box or a fry tank.

* Provide a safe environment: The fry tank should be well-filtered and have a low flow rate.

* Feed them appropriate food: Fry need very small food, like baby brine shrimp or specially formulated fry food.

Remember, freshwater fish fry are extremely delicate. They require special care and a safe environment to survive and thrive.
