Can a betta fish be in same tank or bowl with baby snapping turtle?

Snapping turtles are carnivorous and will eat betta fish. Even a baby snapping turtle can easily consume a betta fish. Additionally, the snapping turtle's sharp claws could injure or kill the betta fish.

For the safety of both animals, it is important to keep them in separate enclosures.
